ABOUT YOU CAN'T BE MY VALENTINE

You can't be my Valentine, c'était au départ un jeu de mot relativement astucieux avec mon prénom, Valentine. Dans la culture Américaine (et c'est la seule référence que j'y ferai, promis), être la Valentine de quelqu'un, c'est en quelques sortes être son amoureux(se) - ce que vous trouveriez ironique, si vous me connaissiez depuis longtemps. 

Ce nom, c'est une manière de dire que c'est moi qui décide. Et croyez moi - tout décider, ce n'est pas simple, mais ça fait du bien.

You can't be my Valentine was a relatively witty pun I made for an Instagram account a couple of years back. It was a reference to the kids' saying "Will you be my Valentine" - which will become an obvious ounce of irony once you get to know me. 

Telling anyone -and everyone - they can't be my Valentine is a way for me to take things into my own hands. Believe me - deciding everything yourself is no piece of cake - but man, it's worth it.
